Tbh I have no real issue with SR but I knew they would back their allies, so of course not going to play nice in the sandbox with them.
I am looking forward to seeing "sr the war chain" shk says they are now. After last age both SR and RB are in need of a double dosage of viagra for their epeens, alliance morale must have been low after turking your entire chains value last age. At least SR has the "excuse" of 5v1 but no reason for RB imo.
SR the warchains leader RPKM thought this would be over in 2 days, sorry we're not you guys. At least you have mains this era that I know will fight to the end, I look forward to it. But I have zero doubt we will win this war.
SR is indeed is in a rebuilding stage after the events/war of last era. We could have been like some alliances, say we are rebuilding and take no part in any wars (which they have been saying since before I left...and then also allied with the only alliance that never wars
). We could have been like all the other alliances/players and just sit by and let fflop-glads send multiple rogues on us to make us weaker day after day (abyss, xelli) ... or in some cases even have a bfmod fund a rogue and let him sab most all of our mains (bss-rulemachine) - while those rogues dont sab them and let fflop-glads only get stronger. We could have been like other alliances and just watched the fflop-glads lead get even bigger after their impressive start to the era...pushing 2 accounts to unhitable while no other alliance came close. We could have done so many things like the other alliances, but what fun would that be, right?
After I had left SR/KoC, it seemed SR became even more of a pure ranking alliance than I would have imagined. After last era, there needed to be a big change in SR. I wanted to weed out more of our rankers so we wouldnt always avoid war. Rankers in SR always made us bend over to alliances who sent rogues, but never got any consequences for their actions... just so they can protect their top rank for end of the age/era. As I stated to you (dank) and some others as well, this Era SR wasnt planning to rank - if you pushed us, we would push back!
Let's be honest, this war was never going to be in the favor of SR/RB due to the lead/advantage of fflop-glads (more members, more value, more experienced players)... we knew this going into this war. However, I am
extremely proud of EVERY member in SR/RB for pulling off the start of war seamlessly. Proud of the fact that many did not stop playing as soon as this war started (unlike last era). Proud of the communication, effort, and sacrifices. Proud of the fact that we have maxed most of fflop-glads (with decent aat) every day in this war. In fact, not only did we get a majority of fflop-glads maxed in the first strike (and most have been all war), we punished fflop-glads for being ill-prepared for war as they had to sold off major value from their SA and DA, which itself is thanks to our well-planned and coordinated initial strike by SR/RB. Sadly, that doesnt show up as "war damage".
There is a famous saying... “It's not how you start that's important, but how you finish!”
You might claim this "war" a victory for you (this era), but what you dont realize is that this is just the beginning of the "SR war chain". While you are thinking the how to finish this war, I am thinking of the future eras where SR will always be ready to war and not have a repeat of last era. In that sense, we are actually winning!
